GraphiCal Creations, Inc. Signage Win Gold and Silver Awards
At the recent Home Builder’s Association’s 21st Annual MAME (Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence) Awards Banquet, signage designed and produced by GraphiCal Creations, Inc. for John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods won prestigious Awards.
The Gold and Silver Award was presented for “Best Overall Signage of the Year” to the Brookhaven community, a John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods development. Graphical has earned numerous MAME Awards for the past five years for a variety of local and national builders.
MAME Awards are presented by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Charlotte Home Builders Association. The Sales and Marketing Council has over 750 members in the Charlotte Metro area. The Charlotte Home Builder’s Association has over 1500 members.
GraphiCal Creations, Inc. Recognized by PICA
GraphiCal Creations, Inc. was recently recognized by the PICA (Printing Industry of the Carolinas) with an Award of Excellence for Brochure Design. The brochure, produced for Gandy Communities, was designed by Meredith Smith, Graphic Designer for GraphiCal. PICA is a trade association that offers educational seminars and services to individuals and companies in the printing and graphic arts field in North and South Carolina.
GraphiCal Creations, Inc. Sponsors Kids Day in Locust
GraphiCal Creations, Inc. is proud to announce its Gold sponsorship of Kids Day America International. GraphiCal, in partnership with Gotro Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, the West Stanly Business Association and other Locust and Stanly County businesses and organizations, will celebrate Kids Day America on May 20, 2006, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. in the Locust Town Centre. Last year, which was the first year for the event in Locust, over 1,000 visitors attended.
All children, along with their families, are invited to come out and enjoy the festivities. Kids Day is a family-oriented event offering free drawings, give-aways, food, Our Barn horse rides and a moon walk. Kids Day America emphasizes child health, safety, and environmental awareness. Free Child ID cards will be provided. Special appearances by: cars from ST Motorsports, South Sea Dancers, Mother Goose, McGruff the Crime Dog, and many more.

GraphiCal Vice President Named Chair of SMC
Marla Schopler, Vice President and Owner of GraphiCal Creations, Inc., was named Chair of the Sales and Marketing Council, a subsidiary of the Charlotte Home Builders Association. As Chair of the SMC, she will also serve on the Charlotte Home Builders Association Board of Directors. “The home building industry has done so much to improve both the economy and the quality of life in the Charlotte Metro and surrounding region. It is an honor and a privilege to be asked to serve as Chair of the SMC and on the board of the Charlotte Home Builders Association,” said Marla Schopler.
Prior to being named Chair, Marla served as the director of numerous events and activities for SMC. She has been a member of the SMC and the Charlotte Home Builders Association for over five years. GraphiCal Creations, Inc., located in Locust, N.C., was established in 1995.
GraphiCal Creations, Inc. Celebrates 3rd Anniversary in Locust
GraphiCal Creations, Inc. will celebrate its 3rd Anniversary this August in the Meadow Creek Business Park (formerly Pine Forest Industrial Park) located in Locust, N.C. Starting with only 2 full-time employees, GraphiCal has grown to employ 15 professionals specializing in Graphic Design, Marketing and Sales, and Specialized Fabricators. Featuring state-of-the-art equipment to produce all types of graphics, decals, and custom signs/banners, including monuments, streetscapes, and fleet graphics, GraphiCal continues to grow, hire and expand with projections of up to 20 employees by the end of this year. GraphiCal is owned by David and Marla Schopler.
Special events are planned for the anniversary celebration, including a picnic/cook-out for the employees and the continued support of our local charitable events and efforts throughout the year. | |
